According to sources, recently an urgent meeting was called by Power Minister RK Singh. In this, instructions were given that grants under the scheme should be given only when these 5 conditions were asked to be fulfilled by the state governments.

Report submission order

Apart from this, Power Minister RK Singh has asked REC and PFC to submit a report within 15 days this month. In this report, both the companies have to certify for 2022-23 that the consumers who are being given subsidized electricity have identified their accounts. And accordingly, the state government is preparing a subsidy bill in its name.
