Indian Railways: Names of 8 railway stations under Amethi district in Uttar Pradesh have been changed. According to official information, the Uttar Pradesh government had proposed changing the names of the respective stations, to which the Department of Science and Technology and Survey of India have expressed no objection to it. Stations whose names have been changed. Their new names are as follows - Kasimpur Halt-Jais City, Jais Railway Station- Guru Gorakhnath Dham, Bani Railway Station-Swami Paramhans, Misrauli-Ma Kalikan Dham, Nihalgarh-Maharaja Bijli Pasi, Akbarganj Railway Station-Ma Ahorwa Bhawani Dham, Warisganj. -Amar Shaheed Bhale Sultani and Fursatganj Railway Station - Tapeshwarnath Dham.

3 new Vande Bharat gifts to UP, extension to one, Chief Minister Yogi expressed gratitude

Lucknow. On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various projects of Indian Railways worth Rs 85 thousand crore through virtual medium. Chief Minister Yogi thanked PM Modi for starting three new Vande Bharat trains in Uttar Pradesh and extending the Lucknow-Gorakhpur Vande Bharat train to Prayagraj. It is noteworthy that PM Modi has gifted 10 new Vande Bharat trains to the country. In these, PM also flagged off Vande Bharat train for Lucknow-Dehradun, Patna-Lucknow and Ranchi-Varanasi. At the same time, Gorakhpur-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express has been extended till Prayagraj.

Chief Minister Yogi expressed happiness on the beginning of the projects

Chief Minister Yogi wrote on social media platform X expressing his gratitude to PM Modi. Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated virtually from Lucknow in the inauguration and foundation stone laying program of various railway projects costing more than Rs 85 thousand crore, which will accelerate the development of the nation.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister inaugurated 10 new Vande Bharat Express trains for the country including Patna-Lucknow, Lucknow-Dehradun, Ranchi-Varanasi and extended the Gorakhpur-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express train to Prayagraj. To ease the transportation of goods in the country, the goods trains of the dedicated freight corridor were also flagged off. Gratitude to the Prime Minister for these gifts that expand the new construction of 'Developed India'. It is believed that the people of the state will directly benefit from these railway-related projects started by the PM for UP. With the increase in the number of Vande Bharat trains, passengers at these places will now be able to reach their destination with more convenience.

PM Modi also mentioned Kumbh and Ayodhya

During the program, PM Modi said that today the country has taken a huge step towards a developed India. Projects worth more than Rs 1 lakh crore have been inaugurated and foundation stones laid in this programme. In this too, the country has received only railway projects worth more than Rs 85 thousand crores. PM Modi said that keeping in mind the public sentiments, the Central Government is expanding the number of Vande Bharat trains as well as their routes. In this sequence, Gorakhpur-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express will now go to Prayagraj.

He also said that this time Kumbh Mela is going to be held, so its importance will increase even more. Apart from this, PM Modi also mentioned the Aastha special trains going to Ayodhya. He said that our government, imbibing the mantra of heritage and development, is also promoting tourism related to faith. Today, Bharat Gaurav trains are running on Ramayana Circuit, Gurukripa Circuit, Jain Yatra in the country. Not only this, Aastha special trains are taking Ram devotees from all over the country to Ayodhya. Till now, about 350 Aastha trains have run and through these, more than 4.5 lakh devotees have had darshan of Shri Ram Lala.
