Lucknow School Holiday : It has been raining intermittently for the last two days in many districts of UP including the capital Lucknow. The rain continued on Monday and incidents of lightning were also reported. In view of this, Lucknow DM Suryapal Gangwar has announced holiday on September 11 in schools up to class 12 of all the boards of the district.

This is stated in the order issued by the District Magistrate on Monday. That in view of the warning of heavy rain with lightning issued by the Meteorological Department and the bad weather in Lucknow for the last few hours, all the government / non-government / private schools up to class 12 of all the boards of all urban and rural areas of Lucknow district. Today, Monday 11.09.2023 (11th September 2023) is declared a holiday in schools. Ensure strict compliance with the said order. According to the Meteorological Department, at present cyclonic circulation is present in the districts of Northern Madhya Pradesh. Due to which there is light rain with thunder and lightning in many parts of UP. There are chances of heavy rain in many districts of Eastern and Central Uttar Pradesh on Monday. At the same time, there is a possibility of reduction in rain from Tuesday. But light rain will be recorded in different parts throughout the week.
