Chandigarh: Population is continuously increasing with time. As the population is increasing. Similarly, the number of schools for the education of Kids is also increasing. For a better future of Kids, it is important to have better education. Today such schools are being run on a large scale in Haryana. Which are unrecognized. That is, they are not recognized by the government.

Action will be taken against unrecognized schools

Keeping all this in view, a petition was filed in the High Court, disposing of it, the HC has ordered the Haryana government to conduct a survey of all the schools in the state. Also orders have been given to file the report. In the instructions given by the HC, it was said that the right to education is a legal right. And under RTE, the Education Director of Haryana was ordered to take strict action against unrecognized schools.

There are unrecognized schools in many districts of the state

Manoj Kumar Jaiswal of Faridabad, while filing a petition in HC, had said that hundreds of unrecognized schools are being run in Faridabad alone. There are more than 550 such schools in Faridabad alone. Which are not recognized by the government. After considering the petition given by the petitioner, the HC had sought a reply from the Haryana government. Then the Haryana government had replied that unrecognized schools were being run not only in Faridabad but in many districts of the state.

Right to take action under RTE 2009

During the hearing on this matter, the HC said that by February 6, the government should prepare a report in the HC and tell what decisions have been taken against the unrecognized schools. Under the RTE (Right to Education) Act 2009, the State Education Director has the authority to take action against unrecognized schools. In such a situation, the HC ordered the government to conduct a survey within 4 months and prepare a list of unrecognized schools and take action against them.
