Yuva Patrkaar: Kia has taken the wraps off its electric car. The 5-seater Kia EV5 has made its global debut at the Chengdu Motor Show. Its styling is quite similar to the EV9. The car gets boxy and upright design elements.

Design

The front of the Kia EV5 gets a full-width light bar with L-shaped LED DRLs. The headlamps are found in the corners. It gets conventional side mirrors. Apart from this, full width LED taillights and integrated roof spoiler have been given in the car. The production ready aero wheels make the SUV look attractive and unique.

Features

Talking about the interior, the dashboard is available with the twin screen layout. It has been designed keeping in mind the comfort of the customers. Wireless charging and smartphone connectivity can be found in the SUV.

power train & battery

According to the report, the length of the car can be 4600 mm and the wheelbase can be 2750 mm. Its weight is being told up to 2 tons. The company has not yet revealed the powertrain of the Kia EV5. The electric car will be equipped with the LFP Blade battery pack.
