Yuva Patrkaar, New Delhi : Recently, MG Motor India has launched its premium SUV car MG Gloster Blackstorm in India after releasing a teaser on its official social media handle. The price of this car in the Indian market has been kept at Rs 40.30 lakh (ex-showroom). The new special edition Gloster Blackstorm has been kept quite attractive in comparison to the standard model.

MG Gloster Blackstorm Variants

The MG Gloster Blackstorm SUV car comes in two variants. – Two-wheel-drive (2WD) and four-wheel drive (4WD). Their price has been kept at Rs 40.30 lakh and Rs 43.08 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. Also, MG Motor is giving the customers the option to choose the Gloster Blackstorm in Blacked Out parts and Metallic Black paint with Black Alloy Wheels.

MG Gloster Blackstorm Design

To enhance the visual appeal, the MG Gloster Blackstorm gets red tinted ORVM mirrors, front and rear bumpers, inner headlamp mirrors, brake calipers and side door protectors. The cabin has also been given a touch of red color along with an all-black layout. The company is offering the option to choose the MG Gloster Blackstorm SUV car in six and seven seater configurations.

MG Gloster Blackstorm Engine Specifications

The technical specifications of the MG Gloster Blackstorm remain unchanged as of now as compared to the standard model.It has a choice of two diesel engines of 1996 cc, 4 cylinder, 2.0 liter. The first generates 161PS of power at 4000rpm and 374Nm of torque at 1500 – 2400rpm. And the second one produces 216PS power at 4000rpm and 479Nm torque output at 1500 – 2400rpm. An 8-speed automatic gearbox has been provided with both the engines.

MG Gloster Blackstorm Competition

The MG Gloster Blackstorm will compete directly with the Toyota Fortuner and the Mahindra XUV700 in the Indian market.
