Brazil Plane Crash : A major plane accident has occurred in Brazil. All the passengers including the pilot are reported to have died in this accident. According to media reports, the accident took place on Saturday at 11:30 am Indian time in Barcelos, located in the Amazonas Province of the country. There were 14 passengers on board the plane, including the pilot and co-pilot.
Among them were Brazilians as well as American citizens. All the passengers on the plane were going from Manaus to Barcelos Fishing. Amazonas Province Governor Wilson Lima confirmed the accident and expressed his condolences to the people killed in it. However, in his statement he has said that 12 people were killed. While Brazilian media has confirmed the death of 14 people. The crashed plane belonged to Manuas Aerotaxi airline.
The body will be handed over to the relatives on Sunday evening.
The place where the plane crashed on Saturday morning is a very remote area. The rescue operation was started long after the accident and all the bodies were recovered by late evening. Since there is no cold storage facility in Barcelos, all the bodies have been kept in a nearby local school. According to media reports, today i.e. Sunday evening, the Brazilian Air Force plane will reach Barcelos and take all the dead bodies to their families.
Bad weather became the reason for the accident
According to Brazilian media, it was raining heavily at the time the plane crashed. It is being believed. That due to bad weather, the pilot could not guess the landing strip to land the plane. At the same time, aviation company Manuas Aerotaxi Airline has issued a statement saying that it will investigate the matter. On behalf of the company, it was said that we respect the privacy of the victims in this difficult time. We will continue to provide all necessary information along with the investigation.
