National Celebration of India's independence Will Be Celebrated in America Also, Bill introduced in Parliament

America News: India's Independence Day may soon be celebrated as a national celebration in America too. A proposal regarding this has been presented in the US Parliament. Indian-origin MP Mr. Thanedar has placed this resolution in the US House of Representatives.

In this, there has been a demand to declare India's Independence Day as the National Day of Celebration of the world's 2 largest democratic countries. The basis of this bill has been told to be a strong partnership between India and America, which is dependent on the democratic values of both.
This partnership will help in bringing the spirit of global democracy, peace and stability in other countries as well. The resolution is also co-sponsored by Congressmen Buddy Carter and Brad Sherman.

44 lakh Indians in America
According to the UN International Migration Report, there are around 1.80 crore overseas Indians in the world. Of these, 4.4 million people live in America. Here, in 10 districts of 6 states, the number of Indian-American people is 6-18%. They have the highest population in California, Texas, New Jersey, New York, Illinois.
More than 80 Indian diaspora are posted on important positions in the American administration. Apart from this, about 38% of the doctors in America are of Indian origin. Indian-Americans are the highest earning ethnic group in the US.
