Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu approved giving three percent dearness allowance to Forest Corporation employees from January 1, 2022.

Chairing the 213th meeting of the Board of Directors of Himachal Pradesh State Forest Development Corporation, Sukhu also approved regularization of services of eligible employees of the corporation who have completed four years of service as daily wage labourers.

The Board of Directors has decided to give bonus to the employees of the Corporation for the year 2022-23. Which will benefit about 253 employees. The Chief Minister said that the state government will extend full support to the Forest Corporation by strengthening it and making it a self-reliant and profitable organization. He said that to overcome the problem of shortage of employees in the Forest Corporation, 100 Van Mitras will be appointed.
