The Delhi government has recently decided to provide Rs 150 crore to build two important rapid rail transit system corridors. Both these corridors will start being built soon, in which high speed rapid rail will run. These trains will reach cities at a distance of 100 km/h at a speed of 180 km/h, not in minutes but in hours.

Let us tell you that two corridors will be built with the money given as the first installment. The first corridor will be built on the Delhi-Gurugram-Shahjahanpur-Neemrana-Behror line at a cost of Rs 100 crore. The second corridor will start on the Delhi-Panipat line at a cost of Rs 50 crore. This will provide direct connectivity to four emerging big cities of Rajasthan and Haryana - Shahjahanpur, Neemrana, Behror and Panipat: Delhi and also Gurugram.

Gurugram is going to benefit the most from this scheme of Delhi. It is via the Rapid Rail Transit System Corridor (RRTSC) going to Behror. Gurugram has become a real estate hotspot due to the Dwarka Expressway. Connecting with rapid rail increases the possibility of investing in it.

Pradeep Agarwal, Founder and Chairman, Signature Global (India) Limited, said that the construction of two important Rapid Rail Transit System corridors will greatly benefit many areas of Gurugram. This corridor will cater to the transport needs on both sides of NH 48, including RRTS routes from Aerocity (Delhi) to Cyber City Gurugram around Rajiv Chowk, Kherki Daula and Manesar, Sector 37D. Therefore wealth will increase in these areas.
The Delhi-Gurugram-SNB RRTS project, to be implemented by NCRTC in phases, will revolutionize urban connectivity in NCR with the hub of Gurugram. Gurugram will become a strong residential and business hub as it becomes an important deciding factor.
