Haryana Roadways: Haryana Roadways Depot Jind has given a good news for the passengers traveling between Jind and Ballabgarh. Keeping in mind the convenience of travel and time saving, Roadways Depot has started direct bus service from Jind to Ballabgarh. With this new initiative, passengers will no longer need to change buses to reach their destination, thereby saving their precious time.

Convenient time table

The first bus for Jind-Ballabgarh will leave the depot at 5.20 am and the second bus will leave the depot at 6.40 am. This will facilitate the passengers to choose the bus as per their daily routine and there will also be proper management of time.

Long standing demand of passengers

Passengers were demanding from the bus depot management to start direct bus service to Ballabgarh for a long time. Earlier, due to lack of direct bus service on this route, passengers had to change buses, which wasted both their time and energy. With the launch of this service, passengers will now get better transportation facilities.

Shortage of buses and problem of passing

There was a severe shortage of buses at the depot before the new buses arrived last year, affecting both long and short routes. The depot was running with the help of condom buses, due to which it was becoming difficult to run buses on new routes. However, now the roadways depot has more than 200 buses. And along with the closed routes, buses are also being run on new routes.

Obstacles and solutions in passing

The passing process of 11 new buses that came to the depot in the beginning of March was stuck for 15 days. After the transfer of RTA Jind, the responsibility of passing of new buses was handed over to the SDM office, but the passing could not be done. The government then handed over the additional charge of Jind to the RTA of Kaithal.

However, the passing process was further delayed due to RTA not joining on Monday. Due to this, new buses have been standing in the roadways workshop gathering dust for 15 days. These buses can be sent on the route only after passing.
