New Rail Line: 98 KM Long New Railway Line Will Be Built Between These Cities of Bihar, Acquisition Will Happen Soon
New Rail Line: Samastipur Railway Division will build a new rail line between Mithilanchal and Kosi. DPR of 98.250 km long new railway line between Laheriasarai-Saharsa has been prepared. The Railway Construction Department has received the agency's report. In this, 20 railway stations and halts will have to be built.
Apart from this, three RABs, 85 underpasses, twelve major and eight minor bridges will be built. The estimated cost of construction is Rs 358 crore. The department has recently prepared the DPR report and sent it to the Railway Board for approval.

Soon after the approval, tender will be floated to start the land acquisition process. Upon completion of the construction of the new rail line, the distance from Saharsa to Laheriasarai station will be less than 71 km, which is 71 km less than Samastipur and 48 km compared to Jhanjharpur.
The journey will end in three hours. Jaynagar-Manihari-Jayanagar journey Janaki Express goes via Saharsa to Laheriasarai via Mansi, Rosra, Samastipur. Trains run 169 km on this railway section. The second rail line goes from Saharsa to Supaul, Saraigarh, Jhanjharpur, Darbhanga to Laheriasarai.

This railway runs 146 km. With the construction of the new line, the rail distance will become only 98.250 km. The journey through this line will be completed in at least three hours.
The Railway Construction Department got the final location survey done by the research agency. Rs 2 crore 30 lakh 53 thousand 924 have been spent in making location survey and DPR report.
