This project will be beneficial for the industrial areas of Kharkhora, Manesar and Sohna, and will also help in the development of this region in the state of Haryana. Haryana and Railway Ministry; After getting approval from the Railway Extension Board, the government has also approved the project.
Semi-high-speed sub-urban trains will run between Bahadurgarh-Sonipat and Palwal.
The speed will be 160 km/h
A goods train with a capacity to carry 6 million tonnes of goods annually will also run, which will directly connect Gurgaon to Delhi and also to the state capital Chandigarh.
Trains like Superfast Express, Century will pass through Delhi.
This railway station will connect all the important industrial cities of the state.
The total cost of the project is Rs 5,566 crore. Which also includes interest during construction.
23 major waterway bridges
195 small water flow bridges
There will be 14 stations from 03 new flyovers.
02 road over bridges and 153 under bridges will be built.
Due to hills, a four km long tunnel will be built around Sohna.
The corridor will be connected to four important lines: This railway line will also connect to the major railway lines of the South and North. This will also include Gurgaon, Bahadurgarh, Kharkhoda and Palwal of Haryana. The orbital railway line will connect four major railway lines: Asawati village on the Delhi-Mathura route, Patli village on the Delhi-Rewari route, Asoda on the Delhi-Rohtak route and Harsana in Sonipat on the Delhi-Ambala route.

Harsana Kalan station will be made a junction
Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor will be created by converting Harsana Kalan railway station as a junction. Railway stations will also be built in Turkpur and Kharkhoda districts. Stations will be built at Jasaur Khed, Mandothi, Badli, Devarkhana, Badhsa, New Patli, Manesar, Chandla Dungarwas, Dhulavat, Sohna, Silani and New Palwal.

Palwal is connected to Sonipat by Haryana Orbital Rail Corporation (HORC) via Sohna, Manesar and Kharkhora. This double railway line is broad gauge for goods and passengers. It will provide a dedicated freight corridor (DFC) to Indian Railways at Prithla station and seamless connectivity at Palwal, Patli, Sultanpur, Asodha and Harsana Kalan stations.
Speed will be 120-160 km/h.
Apart from this, the railway line will also speed up the freight trains running from North to South. It has been made jointly by Haryana Government and Indian Railways. The target is to run the Sonipat-Palwal railway line at a speed of 120-160 km/h in 2022-2.
These tasks will be accomplished: HRIDC Ministry of Railways and State Government will complete the Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor Project. The extension of the project is 130 km. Two railway flyovers will be built on the track and 153 railway underpasses will also be built.
