Hisar :- The number of vehicles is increasing day by day. Due to which pollution is also continuously increasing. To control pollution, the Haryana government has banned vehicles running on petrol and diesel in the state. Government of India has started PM e-bus service project. Under this project, electric buses will be run in the state. Initially this project will be started in 10 to 15 districts.
Passengers will be charged less fare
Auto fares are becoming very expensive with time. In such a situation, instead of city buses, electric buses will be run in the district. Soon, Hisar Depot will get 50 new electric buses under this project. These buses will run from square to square like autos in the city. With this, passengers will have to spend less money for fare and will get convenient travel. In these buses, only Rs 10 fare will be charged from passengers like city buses.

A meeting of the company will be held with transport department officials on Monday, in which the final decision will be taken. After this, these buses will be run in Gurugram, Hisar, Faridabad, Karnal and Rohtak. The company's team from the headquarters has come twice for inspection to identify 3 acres of land at Hisar depot. Charging facility for electric buses will be provided at this place.
Electric buses will be run at these places
For information, let us tell you that once these buses are fully charged, they can cover a distance of 200 km. These buses will be 12 meters long like Roadways buses. There will be artisans from the company in the workshop. The roadways administration will pay a charge of Rs 62 per km to the company. These buses will run from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm. These buses will visit DC Awas, Lakshmi Bai, Fawara Chowk, Azad Nagar, Camp Chowk, Camry Road, Deputy Speaker Gangwa Awas Camry, Shri Krishna Pranami Hospital, RTA Office, ITI Office, Dabra Chowk, Aadhaar Hospital.
