It will have more comfortable berths with better cushioning compared to Rajdhani Express trains.

A better designed staircase for ease of climbing to the upper berth will be special for the passengers.

Like the chair car of Vande Bharat Express trains, the sleeper version will also have a speed capacity of 160 km per hour, so that passengers will reach their destination quickly. Vande Bharat Sleeper train will prove especially beneficial for night train journeys. The 16-coach Vande Bharat Sleeper prototype will have 11 AC 3 tier coaches, 4 AC 2 tier coaches and one AC first coach. The train will have a total berth capacity of 823 passengers.
