Fog is abundant in many districts including Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Banaras and sometimes lights of Saryu are visible.

Severe cold in Delhi

It is extremely cold these days in the capital of Delhi. There was some relief after the heavy cold wave on Saturday. Despite this, cold wave is being experienced since this morning. Even on weekends, many people turn on heaters in their homes. Very few people are going out for night walks also.

The weather department has said that the sky will be clear on Sunday. The maximum temperature may remain at 15 to 16 degrees for the next 5 to 6 days. There is a possibility of light rain in the capital on January 9. The minimum temperature in the city on Saturday was 8.9 degrees Celsius, which was 2 degrees above the season's normal temperature. Officials said fog affected train services and 14 Delhi-bound trains were delayed.

Rainfall forecast in Madhya Pradesh

Severe cold continues amid rain and fog in Madhya Pradesh for several days. Even today, rain is expected in the districts of Shahdol and Jabalpur divisions of the state. Rain forecast in Rajasthan and Telangana

An alert of severe cold and rain has been issued in Rajasthan. A new western disturbance is becoming active in the state from January 7. Due to which it may rain while walking. Recently, there was some rain in Jhalawar district and some rain in the surrounding areas also. Light to moderate rainfall is expected in Telangana on January 8 and 9.
