My Bill My Right :- Now you can win a cash prize of up to one crore rupees at a cost of only 200 rupees. Yes, this is absolutely true. A scheme named “My Bill My Right” is being started by the Government of India. This scheme will be started by the government from 1 September 2023 i.e. from today. For information, let us tell you that this is a GST Scheme.

Under this scheme, you will have to upload any GST challan of Rs 200 or more and you will get a chance to win cash prize on that. The purpose of running this scheme by the government is to promote the practice of asking for GST challan among the customers for every purchase. The Central Government has also taken the cooperation of the State Governments to launch this GST Invoice Initiative Scheme.

The scheme will start in these states
GST Invoice Initiative Scheme will be initially launched under Pilot Project in three states and two union territories. Initially this scheme will be launched in Assam, Haryana and Gujarat and Union Territories of Puducherry, Dadra Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. All B2C invoices will be provided to customers by the GST supplier. The minimum value of these invoices has been fixed at Rs 200.

This is how to run and upload
GST Invoice can be uploaded on Mobile Application “Mera Bill Mera Aadhaar” available on IOS and Android as well as web portal web.merabill.gst.gov.in. Each person can upload a maximum of 25 challans every month. Let us tell you that every uploaded challan will get an acknowledgment reference number, which will be used for the prize draw. This lucky draw will be conducted on monthly basis. All B2C invoices issued during the last month and uploaded by the date of next month will be eligible for this draw. While uploading the challan, the supplier will have to provide information like GSTIN challan number, challan date, challan value and customer's state/union territory etc.
