The poor people of the state will get this facility from 'Haryana Chief Minister Antyodaya Parivar scheme. The objective of the scheme is to give smart cards to poor elderly, women and Kids. So that they will be able to travel free in roadways buses.

The govt has also started free bus service for daughters. The govt has provided special buses for daughters studying in educational institutions. Now all students will get smart cards only as passes. The process of issuing smart cards will start after the e-ticketing system is implemented in the transport department. Talks are going on with various institutions. Work orders for smart card will be issued soon.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah was informed about this scheme by Chief Minister Manohar Lal during the Antyodaya Mahasammelan in Karnal. As mentioned in the family identity card. V Umashankar, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Manohar Lal, said that the draft of the Chief Minister Antyodaya Transport Scheme is almost complete. The govt has provided free bus travel up to 1,000 km to family members every year. The scheme will be implemented widely in the next few days. As of now, 7.3 million people are affected by the scheme.
