Who is Better in Punch iCNG vs Exter CNG, Know its Features
Yuva Patrkaar, New Delhi : Tata Motors has launched its popular car Punch iCNG in the Indian market. Which is going to compete with the recently launched Hyundai Xtor CNG. Its production process has started. And soon it will be delivered to the customers. Let us know the features of both the vehicles in detail. In fact both the Punch iCNG and Xeter CNG micro SUVs are CNG vehicles powered by the same 1.2-litre petrol engine.
Punch has 3-cylinder engines. While the Exter has a 4-cylinder engine. Let us tell you that the Punch produces 72.5 BHP. But it has its specialty. It comes with a segment-leading 103Nm of torque. Unlike other CNG vehicles in the market, the Punches starts straight away in CNG mode. It is the fourth CNG vehicle in the Panch Tata Motors portfolio, after Tiago, Tigor and Altroz.

On the other hand, the power output of the Exeter CNG is 67.7bhp and 95.2Nm of torque. Also, the vehicle shares the same powertrain with the Grand i10 Nios and the Aura. Actually Xeter CNG is available in two variants. Which is S and SX.

Now let's take a look at the features as well. So both Hyundai Xtor CNG and Tata Punch iCNG come with sunroof feature. The special thing about punch is this. That twin cylinder technology has been used in it. Due to which there is no effect on its boot space. While the Exeter SUV includes 6 airbags, dual camera dashcam with a selfie option, 8-inch infotainment system and 4.2-inch multi-information display as standard features. Apart from this, the Exter also gets ABS with EBD, brake assist, hill start, tire pressure monitoring system, and wireless phone charger.

The Tata Punch iCNG, on the other hand, gets a USB C type charger, front seat armrest, 7.0-inch infotainment system by Harman with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Apart from this, it is also equipped with height adjustable driver seat as well as one-touch up. Let me tell you that the starting price of Tata Punch CNG is Rs.7,09,900. And it goes up to Rs 9,67,900. Whereas, the S variant of Exeter CNG costs Rs 8.24 lakh. Also, the price of the SX variant is Rs 8.97 lakh.
