Permission Granted For Laying New Railway Line in Haryana! Now Trains Will Run Here on Double Track

Haryana Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation (HRIDC) has also started work on this project after getting approval from the Khattar government to lay a new rail line from Garhi Harsaru Junction to Jhajjar via Ashok Nagar. HRIDC has submitted the feasibility study report for this railway line to the PWD B&R department. The file of the project will now be sent by the state government to the central government for approval. Work on this project will start as soon as approval is received from there.

24 km new railway track will be laid
Under the project, 11 km of single line from Garhi Harsaru Junction to Farrukhnagar will be doubled and 24 km of new railway track will be laid from Farrukhnagar to Jhajjar. About 1225 crore rupees will be spent on this. In this, 50-50 percent amount will be borne by the state and central government. After the completion of the project, connectivity of Gurugram with West and North West districts by train via Farrukhnagar and Jhajjar will increase and will also save up to 2 hours.
Presently, to go to Jhajjar, Rohtak, Hisar, Bhiwani and Jind one has to go via Delhi or Rewari. Also, it will be a major step towards the South Haryana Economic Rail Corridor. In order to start the work on this project soon, four days ago, Deputy Chief Minister of the state Dushyant Chautala held a meeting with the officials of HRIDC and instructed them to complete all the formalities.

Logistics industry will get wings
After the Jhajjar-Farrukhnagar rail line is laid, the development of the area will gain momentum. There are several cargo and logistics centers in Farrukhnagar.
